GA-HIMSS Now Taking Scholarship Applications
The Georgia HIMSS Chapter Board is pleased to announce the first annual Georgia HIMSS David Z. Cowan Scholarship program in 2012. This exciting new scholarship is possible due to the successful GA HIMSS Annual Golf Event started in May 2010 which has raised over $25,000 in the first two years. This successful event has now been established as an annual signature event for Georgia HIMSS. The Board has committed to use the proceeds to offer scholarships to the future healthcare leaders in Georgia.
If you or someone you know is interested in applying for this educational scholarship towards a qualified Georgia Healthcare Information Technology or Management Engineering program, please complete and submit the application form by January 26, 2012 to scholarships@gahimss.org .

The Georgia HIMSS Board is committed to working with our professional colleagues and young leaders who have chosen to be our healthcare industry leaders of tomorrow.
