Georgia – HIE Update
The GA Department of Community Health has provided grant funding for HIE initiatives to: Chatham County Safety Net Provider Council, Washington County Regional Hospital, and East Georgia Healthcare. Grantees provide periodic status reporting to DCH.

Not a government agency, but a private not-for-profit certification organization composed of workgroups that develop criteria and test scripts for health IT – including Ambulatory EHR, Inpatient EHR, HIE’s, PHR’s and ePrescribing.
